Release forms

I got each of the performers in my music video to sign a release form to say that I have their permission to put them in my video, because I am the artist in the video, I didnt think it was needed for me to sign one.

Digipak and Poster

I chose to do my digipak in black and white and also some colour pictures because the video is both colour and black and white. I also decided to use the image of the shoes because there is a lot of focus on the shoes in the video from the close ups of the artist walking, so I also decided to use them on the digipak because they play an obvious role in the video.

The size of this draft is 'squashed' this is a problem that YouTube had when i was uploading my draft.

Digipak and Poster Plan

Once I had looked at different digipaks I looked at some of their ideas and used them in my digipak. The back cover of the digipak would be typical, I saw this idea on a lot of digipaks, where the artist is stood to the side and the song titles were on the other side. This is a bit different to my digipak because I changed it a little to make it look better for the digipak.

This is the design for my poster. I based this design on the Jessie J album poster. I liked the varitet of writing on it and i like4d the way the image only fills up 3/4 of the poster, I thought this was a good. This allowed me to do a veriety of this on the poster.

What To Do Next

Now after analysing the first draft, we decided to go and shoot some more footage and we also considered re-shooting some of the footage we already have depending on the time we have. We will decide on when we are next shooting and gathered everyoen together to do the filming, we decided on locations and outfitsd then we was abloe to do some more filming for the rest of the video.

Examples

 I dont like this album poster, because its just plain. However, the title stands out and makes it clear as to who the artist is and their name.

I like the designs for the CD's, i think its a clever idea that they made them look like sweets. I also like the variety of images on the digipak cover.



I like this advertisement because it has two different designs, I also like this because it has a constent theme to it which is the colour theme red.

How We Do - Draft 1

This is the first draft of out music video, because of the camera we filmed on, the size of the image was not wide screen, we decided to keep it this way until we had finished the music video and then chsnge all of the screen sizes at the end to make it easier.
